On and on

Movement is so important to me. I like to look put-together, but I hate feeling restricted.

Top: It's actually a tube dress I made that can also be worn as a top. It's the same as the black one I always wear but in white :o).

Skirt: Made by me. Tulle, tulle, tulle, can never get enough of it. This skirt may seem dressy, but its color is so soft and unassuming that it suits every occasion.

Heels: L.A.M.B, my newest acquisition!! Got them on Ebay for $170 a couple of weeks ago at the same time they were listed on shopbop.com for $400. Score!

P.S. I've been a great fan of Lafaune for sometime now, he's so incredibly talented and has an great sense of humor. I check his blog daily, as his caricatures are a real treat. I had such a sweet, sweet surprise today in the form of a lovely drawing. I am so honored.

Aneta

I've received many e-mails asking about the Aneta dress I wore on my birthday. I must say the pictures really do not do it justice. I wish my camera and photography skills were good enough to capture its whimsy :o). There are layers and layers of pure silk in this dress, that make for its ethereal feel and beautiful movement. I had enough fabric to make two more, will be listing these shortly.

It's hard to be a good blogger in the summer, too many days spent lounging around in less than picture-worthy attire. It's been weeks since I've woken up before noon, but I figure there's nothing wrong with being a lazy cat as long as I can sneak a couple of hours of productivity here and there.

As long as I remember who's wearing the trousers..

It's too hot for jeans and with the weather only getting hotter, I'll be wearing skirts, dresses and oversized t-shirts exclusively for the next two weeks. I've been thinking of making myself a couple of light dresses/deep v-neck oversized t-shirts, but I have too many other projects to finish up until I'm able to stop thinking and start doing. Thankfully I have my brother's tees and my Lambourghini tank top to pull me through :o).

Top: Banana Republic

Skirt: Made it myself. It falls right bellow the waist but I like to pull it up with a belt. Love that paper-bag look.

Belt: Benetton

Pumps: BCBG

Got a fast car

It's been so hot, so I've been spending a lot of my time lounging around the pool, playing soccer, table tennis, reading magazines and books. Finding a way to enjoy the heat is better than suffering it. I've also been keeping busy with the dresses and some other pieces I'm working on.
Thank you, again, for the sweet comments and e-mails, I've said it a thousand times but your support truly means the world.

Tank-top: Meet my new Lamborghini tank-top. I've been alternating between it and my brother's white t-shirt this past week.

Skirt: Made by me. I usually wear it with a cinch belt to accentuate the silhouette, but the best thing about this skirt is that it holds its tulip shape on its own.

Pumps: Bally. I know, I'm not awfully original when it comes to footwear :o).

Rooftop

Here I am on top of the world.. almost :o). I climbed to the rooftop of my grandparents' apartment building and what you see stretching behind me is the city of Plovdiv. Commie architecture.. gotta love it.

Shirt: My grandfather's

Tube Dress: My own

Belt: Celyn B.

Black and White

Finally had the pleasure of getting together with some fellow bloggers yesterday - Frickys, Milla and Zazie. The conversations we had were super candid, incredibly entertaining and surprisingly - did not revolve much around fashion :o). I can go on until tomorrow about how beautiful and brilliant they are. Botom line is this, I am so thankful for getting to meet all these wonderful people in the virtual, and now in the real, world. Being a part of the blogging world has been such a wonderful experience and thank you everyone for your kind input and continuous support.

Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera when the four of us met in the afternoon, but after Zazie and Milla left, Frickys (check out her blog here) and I headed back to my place armed with a bottle of white wine. We got dressed, had our wine, and headed out for a night on the town. We had a great time playing mummy twins :o).

I am listing a couple of sleeveless black mummys in my Etsy store. You can check them out by clicking here. I will be listing white sleeveless mummys in the next couple of days.

Loves,

Vera

T-Storm

The weather has been very erratic in the city of Plovdiv. Sun, rain, a thunder storm, sun and rain again, I love it all the same.. I was lucky enough to have my brother take my outfit photos today and here's a not so literal portrayal of what I wore. You still get the idea.

White T: My brother's.

Jeans: BDG

Square Jacket: Got it in Vienna a couple of years ago. I was surpised how well this dressy piece worked with this outfit. I love the touch of color and I find it adds a nice finish to the look.

Spain

Calpe

Benidorm

Grenada / Alahmbra

Marbella

Gibraltar

Just got back from an amazing trip to the South of Spain. It was very spontaneous and pretty rushed. I was tired and hungry most of the time, but it was worth it. Calpe's pristine waters, Benidorm's incredible skyline, Alahmbra's magnificent architecture and beautiful gardens, Marbella's authenticity and Gibraltar.. Gibraltar was the cherry on top. You can see Africa and there are monkeys running around everywhere, completely unhazed by humans. I am super impressed by the monkeys :o).

I tried to catch up with everyone's emails. If you've written to me and haven't heard back, please e-mail me again. I will be listing more mummy dresses in a couple of days, thank you so much for the interest!
