Winter florals

Saturday my mom and I went out to celebrate her birthday. We had an amazing time. At dinner I went a bit overboard with the lobster, mostly because the only way I consume it is drowned in butter. Two days later, I'm still feeling all the cholesterol. It reminded me of Julia Child and her take on French cuisine. She championed using prolific amounts of butter certain it made everything taste better and I have to agree. Too much of the food these days is sucked out of taste to make it microwave-able or "healthy" which is unfortunate.

A bit more fashion-related, I got this dress done two months ago. When I found the fabric I envisioned the perfect summer dress, unfortunately by the time it was ready, summer had already gone by. Nevertheless, with the aid of opaque stockings, the dress transitions nicely into the colder months. What I love most about it is how it moves with the body. The skirt is made of a couple of layers and it's got a great flow.

Wow, I love the dress, I adore that type of neckline.

I like butter with some things, but sometimes I feel that it's too much. All depends on the food I'm eating!

I can't seem to find a dress like this to wear in the winter. Obviously, you've found the right way to do it :)

I haven't read your blog in over a month so I've just noticed a difference.. You are looking a bit thinner (not unhealthy thin-don't worry!). You have no need to worry about the lobster!

Love your shoes, I really need some kick-ass boots like those

It would be mine
