Life Ball

I am so glad you guys liked the dress. Also, thank you so much for your input. I agree, a little less volume on the top, some volume on the bottom.. I'll manage to find the balance that would make it wearable.

Today's post is dedicated to a beautiful cause which also happens to be (in my opinion) the greatest party on Earth. Life Ball is a charity event done every May. All proceeds go towards finding cure for Aids. As for the party itself, what makes it special are the people. Everyone is in the greatest mood, hugging, kissing, taking pictures. It is theme-based and invited guests have the option of either wearing black-tie or going with the theme.

Life Ball 2009 was yesterday. I had business to attend to in the States so I couldn't make it. I am super sad about it, but then again, there's always next year :). Here are some pictures from Life Ball 2008. I wore this 50's vintage gown and felt like a princess haha. Oh yes, and my hair was long and blond :).

You could definitely teach a good few celebs how to work the red carpet, and also give their stylists a run for their money. Sublime. x

Not to be overly cliche, but I really don't know how to describe any of this without the word fabulous.

Seriously, it looks like the perfect gown for the event. Though a cutlery top comes in a close second...
