So throughout the next couple of days I'll introduce some of the concepts that simply fascinate me. Raf Simon's SS08 collection for Jil Sander is a definite forerunner in my inspiration list. Minimal-monochromatic, fluid and loose.. unconstrained, uninhibited and free. These give me an idea of what it would be like to be wrapped up in light. The sheer organza and tulle are almost otherworldly..
What I'm thinking is this.. some lining for decency, paneling for shape and you have this vision translated into something completely wearable and still thoroughly fantastic..

and i can't wait to see where this inspiration takes you, designing-wise! i'm sure it will be quite epic, like the black jacket that caused all sorts of hoopla. =]
Such a beautiful collection! I love your description of it as "wearing light". xxoxoxoxo
It was such a fantastic collection. The softness of it was so beautiful, and I loved the colours.
